Healthy Mother with Midwife and Child in Cote d'Ivoire
Reine Zenae (32, at left) was immunized against tetaunus before the birth of her son, Siatizi (pictured in the arms of midwife Marie-France Die), greatly reducing the risk of Maternal and Newborn Tetanus (MNT), which is a major cause of child mortality in Cote d'Ivoire.
